The Sidewinder Stalk is a modern lamp for tactical use or outdoor activities. As a dedicated "hands free light," this multi-lamp is designed to be attached to clothing or equipment with a special focus on mounting to tactical or protective helmets. All lamps in the Sidewinder family are designed for demanding applications and keep hands free.

Ready for use under all conditions, this helmet lamp accepts various battery types:

CR123 3.0V
AA Alkaline 1.5V
AA Lithium 1.5V

The lamp features 5 different LEDs, each with 4 different lighting modes. Nevertheless, it is operated with just one button - by pulling out and turning the button, the corresponding LED is selected, with the IR position being tactilely highlighted. Pressing the button changes the lighting mode - a simple press switches to the normal lighting mode starting at the lowest level, and a double press activates the strobe mode. The button is also suitable for operation with gloves. A separate IR LED is designed as an IFF or position beacon and is operated with a separate switch - here, too, the emphasis is on simple and quick operation in the dark with an "off" and two "on" positions. Even in the dark, one can feel how to correctly insert the battery, and additionally, a protection is built in so that incorrect polarity does not cause damage.

The intended use of the lamp is attachment to clothing or equipment; for this purpose, it features a multifunctional clip that can be attached to various modular systems, e.g., Molle, or clipped onto belts or backpack straps. Due to its design, attachment to a protective helmet is recommended. Additionally, various mounts are available, e.g., specifically for helmets or headbands. The namesake "Stalk" allows for free positioning of the lamp head in all directions.

The offered model is characterized by a white, blue, green, red, and IR LED. The white LED has a maximum of 76 lumens with a range of about 28m; the colored LEDs are not as bright.

Please note:
This is a work light for illuminating the immediate surroundings under various conditions or for signaling. It is not a spotlight for distances! "IFF" stands for "identification friend or foe" and refers in this context to a blinking signal that can be recognized with night vision.
