B&T Blast Deflector with Glass Breaker Rotex-X, FDE

For sports shooters, the use of a suppressor is not legally possible. With the muzzle brake attachment Rotex-X from Brügger & Thomet, at least the same optics are now possible for AR weapons. This attachment is simply mounted on the existing NATO / A2 muzzle brake and extends the weapon by 45 mm. However, there is no sound pressure reduction, making it legally irrelevant and also freely available for sports shooters.

In addition to the suppressor optics, this extended muzzle brake naturally also has other advantages for the sports shooter: The gas exit is directed forward like a suppressor, just without damping. This reduces the recoil of the weapon and significantly reduces the side-exiting residue - thus protecting neighboring shooters. When shooting in a prone position, less dust and particles are stirred up, which can cause irritations in the field of vision or even disrupt the weapon's function.

The B&T muzzle brake can be easily attached to NATO / A2 and Rotex-III, -V, and -X compatible muzzle brakes and compensators (caliber .223 (5.56mm) and .308 (7.62 mm)). The new Rotex-X interface is more compact and easier to operate than the old versions.
