Due to the huge success of the 1st generation, ASE UTRA is bringing an upgrade in a new design with the new silencer DUAL-556-BL Gen2. The new glass breaker front design not only looks sleeker, but also significantly reduces muzzle flash. Additionally, the new model is a few grams lighter than its predecessor.

The recoil behavior of the DUAL-BL silencers has been reduced to only 0-15% through new technologies - compared to 25-50% in conventional silencer models. Perfect for repeated firing, e.g., in use. The DUAL series also undergoes the extensive tests of SOCOM special forces and can be quickly and easily mounted and removed using the BoreLock system. The Dual series also offers superior flash suppression.

This high-performance silencer is manufactured in the Finnish factory from a combination of black steel and stainless steel and consists of individually welded chambers for maximum strength and uncompromising durability. The CERAKOTE coating also makes this SD resistant on the outside.

IMPORTANT: A BoreLock muzzle brake is required for mounting the silencer, which is first mounted on your weapon. The silencer can then be quickly and easily screwed onto the muzzle brake. Additionally, the SD can be quickly changed on caliber-matching weapons (with BoreLock). This BoreLock adapter must be ordered separately.

Note on dB measurement from ASE UTRA:

Decibel specifications are always a tricky matter, and some may have been disappointed by the insufficient performance of the purchased silencer. ASE UTRA offers absolute transparency; each silencer is tested at two measurement points. The measurement takes place in open terrain with more than 10m distance from reflecting surfaces.

A B&K 2209 sound level meter is used as the measuring device, which has been specifically developed for impulse noises.

Measurement point 2: directly at the shooter's ear

Nevertheless, ASE UTRA does not rule out variances due to weather, environment, barrel length, caliber, or ammunition - there are simply too many variants. However, the 2-stage measurement process offers more accuracy and overview - because a possibly high suppression value measured "somewhere" says very little...
