The .308 Winchester is a very widely used cartridge in hunting and sporting contexts for bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles. Since the PPU load is based on military load data, it is a fairly tightly loaded cartridge. Delivered as an inexpensive training ammunition or competition ammunition, the M2A1 NATO ammunition box contains 600 rounds.
