The VORTEX Defender ST Enclosed Solar Micro Red Dot is a reflex sight designed for absolute reliability. Equipped with a solar cell in addition to the already known and proven emitters from Vortex, the sight is always ready for use. Especially when used on optical ready pistols in combination with a holster, this red dot sight shows what it can do: the slim design and the extremely robust housing make handling perfect.

The new solar-powered variant of the Defender ST is the big brother of the CCW and is intended for general use. It combines its proven design elements with more modern technology and a multi-reticle: the shooter can choose between a 3 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or a combination of both. The ST Solar uses a CR2032 battery and the Leupold Delta Point Pro footprint, allowing it to be mounted on the current optical ready Sig Sauer pistols without a mounting plate. For Glock MOS and Picatinny rails, suitable adapter plates are already included in the delivery.

This reflex sight also offers the best conditions for use in sporting, dynamic disciplines with its adjustable reticle and distortion-free, parallax-free optics. Even when used on long guns, the sight provides advantages due to its robust construction and large lens. The Solar Auto D-TEC technology seamlessly switches between battery and solar operation.

The illuminated dot is 12-level dimmable, with 2 levels for NVG, activates automatically with movement, and turns off automatically after 10 minutes without movement. The multi-coated aspherical lens ensures a clear, distortion-free view, and the Shockshield polymer inserts absorb shocks and vibrations, significantly increasing the lifespan of the sight.

The housing is designed to be so stable and features a textured front that allows for reloading of pistols with the sight on edges. The sight is, of course, dust and waterproof.
