The single-shot M99 from BARRETT is indeed a special kind of large-caliber rifle. With a 32"-bull barrel and an overall length of 127 cm, this precision rifle does not fit into every gun cabinet. Due to its caliber, this single-shot rifle is also not suitable for every shooting range - with approximately 15,000 Joules, the bullet trap must be appropriately rated. The 3-chamber muzzle brake and the high weight of the weapon reduce recoil during firing. A single-shot rifle with excellent precision.

The U.S.-based firearms manufacturer BARRETT was founded in 1982 by sports shooter Ronnie Barrett and is now one of the most well-known defense companies for large-caliber LONG-RANGE calibers. The maxim was quickly established: the development and manufacture of large-caliber repeating rifles with sensational precision, but also the necessary robustness and functionality under all conceivable conditions for military purposes. BARRETT became predominantly known for its model 95 in caliber .50 Browning Machine Gun, a highly precise repeating rifle for distances beyond the 1,500-meter mark. Of course, the American firearms manufacturer also includes large-caliber rifles for .338 Lapua Magnum or .300 Winchester Magnum in its portfolio.
