The Fabrique Nationale FN 502 Tactical is a modern .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol with innovative features. As the first weapon of its type, it comes factory-equipped with a mounting interface for red dot sights. The extended barrel with muzzle thread allows for the attachment of a compensator for rapid fire sequences, and while the classic single action hammer may seem antiquated in a modern weapon, it ensures a safe and reliable ignition, especially with rimfire ammunition. All controls are ambidextrous without modification.

The patented Low-Profile Optics Mounting System allows for a very low installation of the red dot sight for reliable co-witnessing. The front cocking serrations and aggressive grip texture provide a slip-resistant and secure handling, while the aluminum slide and polymer frame keep the weight low for fatigue-free training.
