The lever-action repeater 1895 SBL from Marlin is an absolute classic in the field of Western long guns. Don't be misled by the term Western guns. The UHR in the powerful caliber .45-70 Government, with its Ghost-Ring sight, is the ideal tool for quick target acquisition and high shock effect during driven hunts. It also performs excellently in sport shooting. Thanks to the existing Picatinny rail, reflex sights (see images, not included) can be quickly mounted. The new production at RUGER builds on the previously reliable technology, with only a spiral-fluted bolt and a slightly slimmer forend optimized by the engineers in North Carolina.
