A major advantage is that the observer can save the hassle of carrying a separate binocular. The eyepiece is already prepared for mounting on a thermal or low-light amplifier handheld device; the precise Jagen Duo connector is needed for the connection. The optical axis is already pre-set. However, the adjustment can also be made manually using the adjustment screws.
