The lever-action repeater 1894 SBL from MARLIN is a classic in the field of Western long guns. Don't be misled by the term Western guns. The rifle in the powerful calibers .357 Magnum or .44 Remington Magnum is the ideal tool for quick target acquisition with its Ghost-Ring sight. Thanks to the existing Picatinny rail, reflex sights can be quickly mounted, but various scopes and scout optics can also be used, as the weapon ejects to the side and thus does not come into contact with an optic. The latest variant of the long-known and proven SBL series features a new Ghost-Ring sight, with the rear sight integrated into the Picatinny rail and easily removable, while the front sight is equipped with a fiberglass rod as a light collector. The laminated wood stock has an improved finish and a more aggressive, non-slip "checkering."

The most interesting innovation, however, is likely the muzzle thread, which is now standard - the .357 Magnum is equipped with a 1/2"x28 UNEF thread, while the .44 Magnum has a 5/8"x24 UNF thread. Both are widely used standards that allow for the attachment of a variety of accessories such as compensators and silencers.
