Forest double-barreled shotgun colored and engraved

Forest Doppelflinte. Classic double shotgun from the era of great small game hunting. Elegant slim shotgun made under the name Forest in 1965 for Frankonia in Spain. Spanish shotgun manufacturers primarily produce for the classic shotgun country of Great Britain. The quality is correspondingly high despite the affordable price. Steel action intricately color case hardened and engraved on both sides with stylized geese and leaf motifs. Barrel set, trigger guard, and operating parts black blued. Sights: Large silver bead as front sight and additionally with large red fiber optic sight. 71 cm barrels with conically tapered engraved rib, barrel sling swivel, and ejectors. High-quality lock: Double barrel hooks with Greener crossbolt. With double trigger and automatic safety. Dark lacquered walnut stock with German cheek piece, stock sling swivel, and 2-cm ventilated rubber butt pad. Extended pistol grip for easier overhead shooting with fine checkering and black grip cap with vine and flower embossing. Forend with fine checkering. Bluing at the muzzle and in the lock area scratched, see picture. The finish on the stock is partially chipped but has no deep scratches or dents. We recommend completely stripping the finish on the stock, polishing the stock, and making it an oil finish. This would significantly enhance the shotgun. Lock tight and firm, barrels mirror bright.
