Zoraki 906 Schreckschusspistole Bi-Color - Titan/Schwarz - Cal. 9mm P.A.K. - Just a few years ago, the company ATAK Arms from Turkey was completely unknown here in Germany. The import of the Zoraki 914 along with the PTB seal changed that abruptly. By now, the scene is aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the Turkish manufacturer. A huge plus is the reliability. Here they even surpass some German competitors. The Zoraki 906 is a very compact semi-automatic gas pistol with a magazine capacity of 6 rounds in caliber 9mm P.A.K. Unlike its larger sister, the grip of the 906 is made as a single unit from plastic and therefore does not have interchangeable shells. The 906 also features a manual trigger safety, a safety notch for the hammer, a functioning slide catch lever, and a Single Action Only trigger. Thus, the weapon must be cocked before the first shot. As is common with many suppliers, delivery is in a black plastic case. In addition to the weapon itself, there is also a launch cup, a manual, and a cleaning brush included. The pistol itself has a very futuristic look. However, this should not be taken as criticism in this case. Due to its size, only 2 fingers rest on the grip. The little finger finds no support here, which is sometimes also the case with sharp subcompact pistols. The blank firing pistol looks really very good. No significant signs of processing can be found either. What immediately catches the eye is the steel insert in the hammer. Here, durability has been invested. The titanium finish of the slide creates a contrast to the black plastic grip. But the choice of materials is also convincing here. Finally, we conducted a short shooting test. With 60 shots fired, it was not a marathon, but it gave us a small taste. Everything worked excellently, just like with the larger sister. Every cartridge, whether brass or steel case, was ignited and subsequently ejected. The only point of criticism remains the slide catch lever. Due to the small dimensions of the weapon, it sits somewhat awkwardly and requires a certain amount of effort. In conclusion, we have a positive test result. When comparing the price with the offered performance, we can recommend the Zoraki 906 gas/signal pistol without hesitation.
