Binocular Design
The ThermTec Ventus 650L night vision and thermal imaging binocular combines modern thermal imaging technology with digital night vision in a powerful binocular observation system. By combining a highly sensitive 640 × 512 pixel VOx thermal imaging detector with a high-resolution CMOS night vision camera, the device enables reliable observations during the day, at dusk, and in complete darkness.
The particularly sensitive thermal imaging sensor with a temperature sensitivity of ≤ 15 mK (NETD) ensures excellent representation of even the smallest temperature differences. This allows wildlife or other heat sources to be reliably detected even at greater distances. With a detection range of up to 2600 meters, the Ventus 650L offers ideal conditions for extensive observations.
For detailed images, the high-resolution AMOLED display with 1600 × 1200 pixels provides high-contrast thermal and night vision images. The digital night vision camera with a 3536 × 3536 pixel CMOS sensor delivers clear and sharp image information. In combination with the interchangeable 850 nm / 940 nm infrared illuminator, the night vision function can be optimally adapted to different observation situations.
An integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) with a range of up to 1000 meters allows for precise distance measurement. The equipment is complemented by numerous intelligent features such as hot-spot tracking, picture-in-picture (PiP), digital compass, GPS, various color modes, and special image modes for forest and rain conditions.
The integrated TSR algorithm (Thermal Super Resolution) further enhances image quality in thermal mode and ensures optimized detail representation. With variable optical magnification and additional digital zoom, observation objects can be flexibly and precisely brought closer.
Thanks to the binocular design, the ThermTec Ventus 650L offers a particularly pleasant and natural viewing experience. The individually adjustable diopter correction of ±5 dpt allows for optimal adaptation to different vision needs.
The robust housing with IP67 protection class reliably protects the device from dust and water. The power supply is provided by two 18650 batteries, which enable a runtime of up to 6 hours. With an integrated video recorder (64 GB storage) and WiFi function, observations can be recorded directly or conveniently transferred to mobile devices.
