The upper mounting rail of the Desert Eagle is a Picatinny rail on the barrel and is only compatible with single slot mounts. Double slot mounts do not fit due to the slot spacing. The Picatinny accessory rail allows for easy mounting of optics and scope rings from the accessory trade.
