The Rix Stride ST6 Lite thermal imaging handheld device is a powerful yet particularly compact thermal imaging monocular for hunting, wildlife observation, security applications, and nighttime explorations. Inside, a high-resolution 640 × 512 pixel thermal sensor with a 12 µm pixel size works to make even fine temperature differences visible. Combined with a sensitive NETD of under 20 mK, a high-contrast and detailed thermal image is produced, allowing wildlife or other heat sources to be detected more quickly.
The integrated 1024 × 768 OLED display ensures a clear and pleasant image presentation. With a 1x optical base magnification and up to 6x digital zoom, both a large field of view can be surveyed and distant objects can be examined more closely.
The thermal imaging camera achieves a detection range of up to approximately 1,300 meters, allowing even distant heat sources to be reliably detected.
Another advantage is the compact and lightweight design: Weighing around 205 g, the device can be comfortably used for extended periods or easily carried in a jacket pocket. Additionally, the monocular can be used not only as a handheld device but also hands-free via a helmet mount, which is particularly beneficial during movement or tactical applications.
For photo and video recordings, the device features a built-in recording function with internal storage, allowing observations to be saved directly. Images and videos can also be wirelessly transferred to a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi.
Power is supplied by a replaceable 18650 battery, enabling quick battery changes in the field. The robust housing with IP67 protection class reliably protects the device from dust and water, making it a dependable companion in any weather conditions.
