The Nitehog Viper GEN 2 thermal imaging camera attachment sets new standards in precision, compactness, and innovative imaging technology. Developed and manufactured in Europe, the second generation of the Viper impresses with a thoughtful combination of state-of-the-art sensors, practical design, and smart AI support.
With a weight of under 330 grams, the device remains exceptionally handy without compromising on robustness. The uncooled VOx sensor with 640×512 pixels @ 12 µm and a sensor sensitivity of < 15 mK delivers impressively detailed thermal images, even with minimal temperature differences. The recoil-activated video recording automatically captures the 10 seconds before and after the shot – ideal for analyzing or documenting the hunt.
The Viper GEN 2 also offers AI-supported features such as the AI SRF algorithm for precise distance measurement and hot-target tracking, allowing you to effortlessly follow moving targets. The battery life of over 5 hours ensures enduring operation, while the compact, shock-resistant housing withstands recoil up to 6000 Joules.
For mounting, the Rusan adapter or the Präzise Jagen clamping sleeve with Duo connector can be used.
