The Wild series from the manufacturer ThermTec is the current handheld thermal imaging camera range featuring the latest hardware and software enhanced with Artificial Intelligence. Various models are available, suitable for beginners to professional users.
The models differ in the resolution of the detector, field of view width, and range, while the remaining hardware and software are the same across all thermal cameras. The AMOLED display with 1024 x 768 pixels provides HD quality resolution. The video recorder offers a generous 64 gigabytes of storage, providing ample space for photos and video clips.
For thermal detection, a VOx sensor is used, which can distinguish even the smallest nuances of a heat source with a temperature sensitivity of under 18 microkelvins. Also new is the data processing, which, through AI, can produce an even better image.
Focusing is particularly easy with the wheel on the top, whether in complete darkness or while wearing gloves. The menu navigation via the mini joystick is also a comfortable solution.
Image calibration can be done automatically or manually; in auto mode, the learning AI takes over the parameters. Zoom-Pro is also supported by AI technology, allowing digital magnification to produce sharp and clear representations.
The high-quality magnesium alloy is waterproof with an IP67 rating and shock-resistant. Additionally, the material effectively dissipates heat from the technology to the outside.
Power is supplied by a rechargeable battery that can be swapped for a charged one in just a few seconds. A charger + 2 batteries are included with every thermal imaging camera.
