The Präzise Jagen Multiadapter clamping sleeve is a versatile adapter solution for connecting modern thermal imaging or night vision technology with compatible optical devices. The system was developed by Reimund Walter, who placed particular emphasis on ease of use and maximum versatility in application during the design.
The great advantage of this system lies in its flexible use. Instead of using several different adapters, the clamping sleeve provides a central solution for various devices. After a one-time installation, handling becomes particularly comfortable, as the system can be quickly and easily used for every subsequent use.
The patented adapter system is characterized by high precision and very good repeat accuracy. This ensures that the alignment of the connected devices remains reliably intact even after being removed and reattached.
The Multiadapter is compatible with many common optics for daylight observation, such as binoculars or spotting scopes. The appropriate size is determined by the outer diameter of the optical housing. The permissible tolerance is ±1 mm. For secure attachment, it is recommended to tighten the screws with a torque wrench to about 1 Nm.
The clamping sleeve is mounted once on the optics and can then remain there permanently. An optional dust cap is available, which protects the system from dust and moisture. The size "Small" is suitable for clamping sleeves up to 61 mm, while the size "Large" is suitable for diameters from 62 mm.
In direct length comparison with other adapter solutions, a very compact design is evident: The fully assembled Präzise-Jagen adapter (including Multiadapter and Hikmicro insert) protrudes only about 0.8 mm further and remains particularly space-saving.
A suitable dust protection is also available for the Duo connector.
When using certain devices, additional components may be required. For some Hikmicro models, for example, a suitable adapter ring is needed. When using a Pulsar Forward, the Smartclip PF4 Converter Forward is additionally required.
