The Steel Action HSL rifle with the adjustable FBT carbon stock – lightweight, robust, and recoil-absorbing.The agile Steel Action HSL straight-pull repeater (Hunting Short Light) features a very lightweight yet stable carbon stock with an adjustable comb in this FBT version. Combined with the steel system, the secure manual safety, and the precise barrel, it results in a modern hunting rifle.

The Stock
The one-piece FBT carbon stock of the HSL rifle is lightweight but still offers high stability. The excellent ergonomic design allows for comfortable mounting, aiming, and shooting in any shooting position. The adjustable cheek piece ensures optimal visibility for all types of sight optics. Carbon is lightweight and robust and has recoil-dampening properties. Two Halder sling swivels SLIM Push&Go, 6 mm, for sling widths up to 23 mm, are installed.

The System
The components of the system are made from heat-treated steel. Their nitrocarburization effectively protects the surfaces from corrosion. The trigger weight is adjustable in the range between 500 and 2,500 g. The Picatinny rail provides a solid mounting base. The HSL FBT carbon rifle has a two-row steel magazine that can be changed with one hand. Its capacity is 5 cartridges. Loading is also possible through the bolt. The bolt can be removed without tools for cleaning.

The Barrel
The length of the barrel of the Hunting Short Light version, here for the caliber .308Win, is 51 cm. It is firmly and precisely screwed in, has no sights, and is equipped with an M15x1 muzzle thread.
