The ergonomically refined one-piece stock of this Steel Action HML rifle is a thumbhole stock made of walnut with an adjustable cheek piece and an Old English butt pad.Ergonomics and individual adjustment characterize the one-piece walnut stock of this Steel Action HML straight-pull repeater rifle (Hunting Medium Light). Robustness and handling are balanced in the HML version for strong calibers starting from .30-06 upwards.

The Stock
The thumbhole and pistol grip of the one-piece walnut thumbhole stock are ergonomically designed for optimal comfort, allowing the shooting hand to rest relaxed and in the correct position on the grip surface with laser-etched fish scale texture. The pistol grip is designed for ambidextrous use. The cheek piece of the butt stock is height adjustable for individual customization and ends with an Old English rubber cap. The stock is finished with oil and features 8 mm wide US sling swivel bases.

The System
The components of the system are made from heat-treated steel. Their nitrocarburizing effectively protects the surfaces from corrosion. The trigger weight is adjustable in the range between 500 and 2,500 g. The Picatinny rail provides a solid mounting base. The HML rifle has a two-row steel magazine that can be changed with one hand. Its capacity is 5 cartridges. Loading is also possible through the bolt. The bolt can be removed without tools for cleaning.

The Barrel
The length of the barrel is either 51 or 56 cm, depending on the caliber and choice. It is firmly and precisely screwed in, has no sights, and is equipped with an M15x1 muzzle thread.
