The Schmeisser SPS15 consistently transfers the proven Short-Stroke Piston System into a modern AR platform for the first time. The energy transfer is constructively separated from the bolt area: heat and gas pressure act specifically within the system architecture – the result is a controlled, even process and stable function even under sustained high shot loads. With the compact 10.5" barrel (267 mm) in caliber .223 Rem, the SPS15 is designed for short distances and tactical use, without sacrificing the familiar modularity of the AR platform.
