The Schmeisser SPS15 consistently transfers the proven Short-Stroke Piston System into a modern AR platform for the first time. The energy transfer is constructively clearly separated from the bolt area: heat and gas pressure act specifically within the system architecture – the result is a controlled, even process and stable function even under sustained high shooting loads. With the compact 12.5" barrel (317 mm) in caliber .223 Rem, the SPS15 offers a balanced compromise between handling and ballistic performance – without sacrificing the familiar modularity of the AR platform.
