Innovative brass tip for high shock effect

The heart of the H&N Hornet is the hard-working brass tip embedded in the lead body. Upon impact, this tip provides enormous depth effect and controlled deformation of the projectile body. The result is maximum shock effect on target. At the same time, the smooth shape ensures a stable trajectory and consistent precision, even at medium distances of up to 30 meters.
Perfect balance between weight and speed

With a weight of 0.65 grams, the Hornet offers an optimal balance. It is heavy enough to have good self-stability against wind influences, yet light enough to be fired from common air rifles with a flat trajectory. H&N Sport guarantees minimal manufacturing tolerances, ensuring consistent muzzle velocity and thus high repeat accuracy of the impact point.

To fully exploit the potential of the Hornet, the manufacturer recommends a muzzle energy of at least 7.5 Joules. In more powerful long-range air rifles (PCP or strong spring-piston systems), it unleashes its brutal penetration power most effectively. Thanks to the special alloy, barrel wear is minimized, extending cleaning intervals and protecting the precision of your weapon.
