Sauer 505 Synchro XTC Elegance Left-Handed Rifle

Modern, lightweight and very elegant: the Sauer 505 Synchro XTC bolt-action rifle with carbon stock – here in the left-handed version – enhanced with the Elegance equipment package.Enhancement of the components is the motto of the Elegance equipment package for the Sauer 505 Synchro XTC bolt-action rifle for left-handed shooters. The barrel and the housing are effectively protected against corrosion with a DLC coating, the surface of the chamber has received a sunburst finish, the chamber grip ball is knurled and features the Sauer logo, and the magazine has a lightweight metal base.

The Stock
The carbon skeleton stock gives the Sauer 505 XTC rifle high stability and excellent ergonomics, ensuring extremely comfortable mounting, aiming, and shooting from any shooting position with the left hand. The steep grip and the palm swell, combined with the height-adjustable comb, provide optimal contact for all optical systems. The stock length is 36.5 mm. Carbon is very lightweight yet robust, but its most important feature is its damping property, which maximally compensates for recoil. With the Sauer 505 Synchro XTC rifle, the shooting hand remains completely relaxed, significantly increasing the hit rate.

The Steel Housing with DLC Coating
The solid steel housing allows for quiet cycling due to reduced friction losses and a smooth chambering process. The surfaces of the housing are coated with a DLC coating. DLC stands for "Diamond Like Carbon." This type of coating is very environmentally friendly and biocompatible compared to galvanic coatings. Through a thin-film coating process, the coated components become particularly resistant and very smooth.

The Chamber with Sunburst Finish
A special optical highlight of the Elegance version of the 505 Synchro XTC is the sunburst finish that enhances the chamber. In this process, the surface is worked with a grinding wheel in such a way that a sunbeam-like iridescence radiates from the center. When the treated surface is moved, the angle of incidence of light changes, and the ground area appears to rotate in a circle. The chamber grip ball is knurled and features the Sauer logo in the Elegance version.

The Manual Cocking
The manual cocking is both comfortable and safe. In the Sauer 505 model, it has been further developed compared to previous models, both in terms of usability and safety. A longer cocking travel requires even less effort. With a light thumb pressure, the rifle is cocked immediately before the shot, and the relaxation afterwards to perform the discharge is just as convenient.

The Trigger
The Sauer 505 repeater features a Quattro trigger with four weight settings. The trigger breaks crystal clear at the precisely individually suitable trigger weight. Settings of 350 g, 750 g, 1,000 g, and 1,250 g are possible. The adjustment is made with the Sauer universal key while the fore-end is uncocked. The trigger guard of the Elegance version is made of aluminum.

The Magazine
The polymer magazine is designed for the chosen calibers and holds 2, 3, or 5 cartridges depending on the version. An unintentional release of the magazine button is prevented by the integrated magazine safety MagLock. The base of the magazine is made of lightweight metal in the Elegance version.

The Barrel
The Sauer 505 bolt-action rifle is equipped with a cold-hammered barrel without sights. This allows for highly precise shots. The muzzle is fitted with an M15x1 thread for a suppressor. It has a smooth profile, and its length ranges – depending on the caliber and personal choice – between 42 cm and 62 cm. The barrel is coated with a DLC finish like the other steel surfaces.
