The GLOCK 17 Gen5 FS is the latest development of the classic full-size pistol in caliber 9 mm Luger. In this version, it combines the proven Gen5 system with front serrations (FS), a 114 mm barrel, and a 17-round standard capacity. This makes it suitable for sport shooting, law enforcement applications, and intensive training alike. Key features of the Gen5 series include the match-grade GLOCK Marksman Barrel, the durable nDLC finish, the ambidextrous slide stop lever, and the enlarged and reversible magazine holder. The front serrations provide additional grip surface at the front slide area and facilitate safe operation, even with wet or sweaty hands. The grip-side magwell is slightly flared to support faster magazine changes. At the same time, the Gen5 has eliminated finger grooves to allow for a wider hand fit. Together with the interchangeable beavertail backstraps, this results in a modern full-size pistol designed for precision, functionality, and everyday usability.
