Used firearm
Pistol Mauser Mod. HSC in caliber 7.65mm Browning.
The Mauser HSc (Hahn-Selbstspanner-Pistole c) was developed shortly before World War II as a competitor to the Walther PP and PPK. Just like these, it was intended as a police weapon, but it was used by the German military during the war. Its original purpose is evident in the shape of the pistol, as all corners are rounded and only the hammer protrudes slightly to facilitate concealed carry. Due to the civilian origin of the pistol, it had a high standard of craftsmanship, which is rarely found in military weapons. Approximately 250,000 pistols were produced, mainly supplied to the army and the navy.
The pistol is fully blued. The grips are original Mauser plastic grips.
The condition of the weapon is excellent considering its age, the bluing is almost completely intact.
The pistol has a valid proof mark, as can be seen in the pictures. Additionally, the weapon was manufactured according to the markings for the American market.
