In this version, it is designed for use with the Blaser integral silencer, which effectively dampens the gunshot noise without impairing maneuverability or obstructing the view when aiming.

The Stock
The thumbhole stock of the R8 Success Silence Grand Luxe is made of wood in the noble class 6 and is finished with a glossy surface. Its ergonomic arrangement of the thumbhole and pistol grip ensures comfortable positioning, aiming, and shooting in any shooting stance. The shooting hand remains completely relaxed. The checkered texture on the grip surfaces feels pleasant in the hands. The end of the fore-end is made of fine black ebony, and the rubber butt plate noticeably reduces recoil.

The System
The system housing of the straight-pull repeater in this version of the R8 Success Grand Luxe Silence is adorned with exquisite engravings. You have the choice between

The wildlife motifs are lavishly surrounded by arabesques. The manual cocking system guarantees maximum safety by relaxing the firing spring. The tension occurs only immediately before the shot by pushing the cocking slider forward. The dry direct trigger has a trigger weight of 750 g. The bolt and chamber are designed, depending on your choice, for the standard or magnum caliber groups.

The Barrel with the Integral Silencer
The mass of the integral silencer with a damping performance of 28 dB is evenly distributed over the entire barrel length. As a result, the rifle does not lose any of its excellent balance. The outer contour of the barrel and silencer jacket is made of titanium and designed in a continuously tapered bull-barrel design. The titanium muzzle brake directs a portion of the powder gases in an orderly manner, and the construction of the integral silencer provides its entire length as an expansion chamber. The inner tube seals the expansion chamber inward, protecting the barrel from powder residues and debris. Depending on the caliber, the barrel length is 42, 47, or 52 cm.
