The Stock
The stock of this version of the Sauer 505 repeater is the polymer hole stock Synchro XT Black. Its ergonomic design, which brings elegance and dynamics into a symbiosis, immediately catches the eye. You can adjust the stock to your personal physical needs when aiming and shooting using the height-adjustable stock comb. The thumb hole is optimally placed, keeping the shooting hand relaxed at all times. The stock length is 36.5 mm. Polymer is a lightweight and extremely durable plastic, just right for an all-weather rifle.

The Steel Housing with DLC Coating
The solid steel housing allows for quiet cycling due to reduced friction losses and a smooth chambering process. The surfaces of the housing are coated with a DLC coating. DLC stands for "Diamond Like Carbon." This type of coating is very environmentally friendly and biocompatible compared to galvanic coatings. Through a thin-film coating process, the coated components become particularly resistant and very smooth. The chamber grip ball in this Outback version is made of anodized aluminum.

The Manual Safety
The manual safety is both comfortable and secure. In the Sauer 505 model, it has undergone further development compared to previous models, both in terms of usability and safety. A longer cocking path requires even less effort. With a light thumb pressure, you can cock your rifle just before the shot, and just as easily release it afterward to perform the unloading.

The Trigger
The Sauer 505 repeater features a Quattro trigger with four weight settings. This allows the trigger to break crystal clear, giving you exactly the individually suitable trigger weight. Settings of 350 g, 750 g, 1,000 g, and 1,250 g are possible. The adjustment is made with the Sauer universal key while the fore-end is uncocked.

The Magazine
The polymer magazine is designed for the chosen calibers and holds 2, 3, or 5 cartridges depending on the version. An unintentional release of the magazine button is prevented by the integrated magazine safety MagLock.

The Barrel
The approximately 300 g heavier heavy contour barrel makes the Sauer 505 Synchro XT Black Outback rifle front-heavy and ensures better oscillation behavior. Additionally, the inherent precision of the barrel increases, and the recoil is reduced. The cold-hammered barrel without sights is equipped with an M17x1 thread for a suppressor. Its length varies between 47 cm and 62 cm depending on the caliber and personal choice. The barrel of the Sauer 505 Synchro XT Outback is effectively protected against corrosion by a DLC coating, just like its other steel surfaces.
