The Winchester SX4 Waterfowl in caliber 12/89 (3.5 inches) has been specifically developed for hunters operating in the most extreme environments. In this version, the shotgun is completely finished in the modern camouflage pattern Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Habitat (MOSGH). This camouflage design provides perfect concealment in reeds, marshlands, and shore areas. Combined with the unmatched reliability of the SX4 series, this semi-automatic shotgun is the ultimate tool for duck and goose hunting.

At the heart of the SX4 is the proven Active Valve gas system. It automatically regulates gas pressure and allows for trouble-free firing of an extremely wide range of loads – from sporty 28g cartridges to heavy 12/89 Super Magnum loads. The coating also effectively protects the firearm from corrosion, which is invaluable, especially when hunting in wet or salty coastal areas.
Optimal ergonomics under harsh conditions

The Winchester SX4 has been consistently optimized for practical use. Controls such as the loading lever, bolt catch button, and safety are oversized. This allows for safe and quick handling of the shotgun, even when the hunter is wearing thick gloves or their fingers are numb from the cold.

Thanks to the Inflex-II stock pad, the recoil of the powerful 12/89 loads is effectively absorbed and directed away from the shooter's face. This drastically reduces muzzle jump and allows for precise follow-up shots on passing game. The grip surfaces are equipped with a special texture that provides maximum grip even in wet conditions.
Back-Bored technology and perfect camouflage

The barrel of the SX4 Waterfowl utilizes Winchester's Back-Bored technology. By increasing the internal diameter of the barrel, friction of the shot string is reduced, leading to higher muzzle velocity and a more uniform pattern. The Truglo light-collecting front sight ensures a high-contrast target acquisition, even in difficult lighting conditions during dawn or dusk.

The complete camo coating covers not only the stock but also the barrel and receiver, effectively avoiding reflections that could alert game.
Safety and Winchester quality

The SX4 features an intuitive cross-bolt safety and a housing made from a high-strength aluminum alloy, keeping the firearm lightweight and maneuverable. The shotgun comes with three Invector-Plus interchangeable chokes to ideally adjust the spread for the respective hunting situation and ammunition.
