The weapon was built and developed by Tim Merkle for the PPC Rifle discipline. He himself has fired about 1000 rounds with it. The complete spring-mass bolt has been optimally tuned for weight and spring pressure. The bolt has been typically finished by Merkle with a sunburst pattern.
