The Bockdoppelflinte Churchill Hunting 812E OxyCap – here in the left-handed version – achieves its durability and easy-care surface through a coating concept developed by Akkar itself.The Churchill Hunting 812E OxyCap from Akkar carries its unique feature in its name: the Akkar proprietary coating process OxyCap. In addition, the black receiver, the matte blued barrel, and the walnut stock give this over-and-under shotgun for left-handed shooters its classically simple appearance.

The OxyCap Coating
The innovative surface hardening process OxyCAP, developed in-house by Akkar, is a heat treatment process that protects the metal components better than conventional coatings. This treatment applies to the steel housing and the locking parts. It results in high abrasion, corrosion, and impact resistance. The OxyCap-hardened surfaces are extremely smooth, so dirt and residues hardly adhere, which also facilitates the cleaning and maintenance of the shotgun.

The Stock
The stock in the left-handed version of the Churchill Hunting 812E OxyCap is made of walnut and has a matte surface. Its ergonomics ensure relaxed shooting, and the grip areas on the pistol grip and forend feel pleasantly tactile in the hands with their fish scale texture. The stock is finished with a black cap.

The System
The black receiver with the described OxyCap finish and the completely black trigger unit match perfectly with the walnut wood. The action box is made of steel. The shotgun is designed for caliber 12/76 and steel shot. It features an ejector and a selectable single trigger.

The Barrels
The Churchill Hunting 812E OxyCap is equipped with 71 cm long over-and-under barrels. The barrel surface is matte blued, the rib is 7 mm wide and has a red fiber bead. 5 interchangeable chokes are included in the delivery.
