The Ruger Precision Rimfire is a serious training weapon, even for large caliber shooters. Therefore, the bolt travel is adjustable. From the factory, the weapon is delivered with the bolt travel for small caliber cartridges, which is only about 3.9 cm long (without clip approximately 7.5 cm). By removing a spring from the bolt, the bolt travel is significantly longer and thus simulates a large caliber bolt. A sophisticated weapon!

The cast, one-piece chassis and the adjustable butt pad are made from glass-filled nylon for strength, rigidity, and stability, providing a solid foundation for precision with every shot. The adjustable butt pad features a flat Picatinny bag rider rail that makes attaching a rear monopod easier. A recessed window provides a hold point for your shooting bag, and in the recess, you can easily attach a sling.
   

The Precision Rimfire stock allows for quick and easy adjustment of the trigger length and stock length of pull to achieve the right fit across a wide range of shooter sizes, outerwear, and shooting positions. Integrated markings in the housing help you quickly return to a previous position.
   

The bolt travel allows shooters to switch from a (small caliber) rimfire 1.5-inch (3.81 cm) bolt travel to a short action (large caliber) centerfire 3-inch (7.62 cm) bolt travel, reducing the risk of insufficient cycling during competition.
   

The trigger weight of the "Ruger Marksman Adjustable" trigger can be adjusted from 2.25 to 5.0 pounds; the tool for this is located in the rear stock.
   

The Ruger proprietary AR-style pistol grip and safety allow for maximum control and access to the reversible 45-degree safety. Both can be configured with most AR-style grips and safeties.
   

The anodized 30 MOA Picatinny rail provides immediate long-range capabilities.
   

The oversized chamber handle provides a secure grip (just like on the Precision Rifle).
   

The free-floating 15" handguard is made of hardened black anodized aluminum and is equipped with Magpul® M-LOK® slots on all four sides to attach M-LOK compatible rails and accessories.
   

The 18" target barrel is made from cold-forged 1137 steel to achieve ultra-precise rifling with excellent accuracy. The barrels can be easily swapped by a competent gunsmith using AR-compatible tools and bolt spacing gauges.
   

The barrel with 1/2"-28 thread for standard muzzle accessories comes with a factory-installed thread protector that protects both the thread and the muzzle crown.
