Innovative technology for outstanding precision

The use of modern "2K Technology" in the manufacture of this rifle ensures optimized stock geometry. The durable, continuous synthetic stock offers ergonomic handling with an adjustable stock comb that can be adjusted from 0 to 30 mm at the push of a button. The steeper pistol grip is equipped with a dual-sided palmswell and is suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters. These features lead to optimal positioning of the shooting hand and reduce dispersion when shooting. The bedded housing, which is firmly connected to the stock, further increases precision.

Weight optimization and compatibility as advantages

With a weight approximately 100 grams lighter than the predecessor model, the R8 Professional 2.0 offers improved handling. The Diamond Like Carbon A+ coating reliably protects the barrel surface from external influences, increasing the weapon's longevity. Additionally, all modular components are fully compatible with existing assemblies of the R8 series. This includes interchangeable barrels, bolts, and magazine-trigger units, making the weapon's application range flexible. Due to the steeper and more ergonomic positioning of the shooting hand, it remains relaxed in the shooting position. Thanks to the ergonomically optimized, double palmswell (hand bulge), the stock is designed for both right- and left-handed shooters. The shooting position is optimally ensured with and without an overlapping thumb.

Seeing more means hitting more safely. Compared to other riflescopes, the Magnus 2.4 – 16 x 56 i offers more light at low magnifications due to particularly low vignetting. The large objective diameter, the effective exit pupil at medium magnifications, and the excellent light transmission of around 92% ensure optimal targeting from dawn until the last light of day. With a high maximum magnification of 16x, it is also perfectly suited for the sporting shot at long distances. The advantage: The extremely high light transmission combined with the outstanding Leica aperture system provides more light even under the most adverse conditions, especially at lower magnifications. Stray light and vignetting effects are significantly reduced, and contrast is increased. In conjunction with the high magnification, it guarantees a safe target acquisition at the shortest distances up to precise long shots.
