Swarovski CL Companion III 10x30 Safari Brown

In a revised design and with improved optics, Swarovski presents the new CL Companion III 10x30 binoculars – here in Safari Brown.The CL Companion binoculars have been delivering brilliant images for hunting and nature observation for some time now. Swarovski has now comprehensively optimized these compact and lightweight companions and released a 3rd generation. The CL Companion III 10x30 in Safari Brown is the version for those who appreciate a balanced ratio of magnification and field of view.

The Housing
The CL Companion III 10x30 binoculars differ at first glance from their predecessor model due to the elegantly designed bridge. In black, it completely encompasses the two tubes in Safari Brown and forms a unit with the also black-edged rotating eyecups. The eyecups have been enlarged, resulting in a clear line in the design without steps in the housing. The additional 50 g that the new version weighs is hardly noticeable. Even at 550 g, the binoculars are still lightweight in the compact dimensions of 129x113x56 mm. They fit ergonomically in the hands, and operation is intuitive with the comfortable focusing wheel. The binoculars are pressure waterproof up to a depth of 4 m and filled with gas to prevent internal fogging. They are delivered in a bag in Swarovski green.

The Optics
The CL Companion III 10x30 binoculars have a field of view of 115 m at 1,000 m, a full 7 m more than its predecessor. This ensures a consistently good overview in the area, and the 10x magnification provides details at great distances. The optical system is coated with the proven SwaroVision technologies and guarantees color-accurate, razor-sharp, as well as contrast-rich and detail-rich images up to the edge. The 30 mm objective lens provides a transmission value of 90 % and a twilight number of 17.3.
