Swarovski CL Companion III 10x30 Mountain Green

The company from Tyrol has now comprehensively optimized the 3rd generation of the successful series. The CL Companion III 10x30 in Mountain Green is the version for those who appreciate a balanced ratio of field of view and magnification.

The Housing
At first glance, the CL Companion III 10x30 binoculars differ from its predecessor model by the elegantly designed bridge. In black, it completely encompasses the two tubes in Mountain Green. Their rotating eyecups have been enlarged, resulting in a clear shape without steps in the design. The additional 50 g that the new version weighs is hardly noticeable. Even at 550 g, the binoculars are still lightweight with compact dimensions of 129x113x56 mm. It fits ergonomically in the hands, and operation is intuitive with the comfortable focusing wheel. The binoculars are pressure waterproof up to a depth of 4 m and filled with gas to prevent internal fogging. It is delivered in a bag in Swarovski green.

The Optics
Despite its 10x magnification, the CL Companion III 10x30 binoculars still have a field of view of 115 m at 1,000 m, a full 7 m more than the predecessor model. You have a good overview of the area and can still recognize every detail even at greater distances. The optical system is coated with the proven SwaroVision technologies and delivers color-accurate, razor-sharp, and contrast-rich images with fine details right to the edge. The 30 mm objective lens provides a transmission value of 90% and a twilight number of 17.3.
