All knife models of the PUMA IP (International Production) brand line are high-quality products that are created in collaboration with renowned partner manufacturers in Spain. The cutting tools handcrafted for us there are mostly equipped with handle scales made from natural products, such as stag horn and various woods (e.g., olive, ebony).
This compact pocket knife combines elegance and functionality in perfect balance. The belly-shaped, modified drop point blade made of 1.4116 steel is ideal for many different cutting tasks in everyday life and leisure. It is suitable, for example, as a snack knife during a hike or while camping. The handle is made from grained, light birch wood and feels pleasant and secure in the hand. (Fun Fact: The name "Birke" can be traced back to a term in Indo-European (* bherHg̑o) and means, in reference to the light bark of the tree, something like "shining"). The knife has no locking mechanism and is therefore § 42a compliant as a slip-joint knife.
Consciously reduced in design – without a clip and only a small lanyard hole – the knife impresses with its elegant shape. For protected transport, it is accompanied by a high-quality suede pouch that emphasizes the elegant character of the knife.
