Your valuable weapon is protected from corrosion by a bluing.
However, if wear or impacts cause damage to the rather weak protective layer on the barrel during use, quick action is necessary.
With Fluna Gun Black bluing agent, you can renew the important corrosion protection with little effort.

With Fluna Gun Black, you can renew the damaged bluing in just a few steps.
Small metal parts such as screw heads can be blackened with the quick bluing, and smaller areas achieve the desired coloring with Fluna Gun Black.
The easy-to-use cold bluing prevents oxidation of unprotected areas on the barrel, and your weapon is ready for outdoor use again in any weather after a short time.

Application

Note:
For larger areas, Fluna Gun Black can also be applied to a cloth, and the surface to be treated can be colored by repeatedly wiping back and forth.
By carefully applying Fluna Gun Black, you ensure that damaged bluing is effectively repaired, protecting your weapon from corrosion and restoring its aesthetic appearance.

Preparation
Cleaning:
Thoroughly clean the damaged area to remove dirt and residues.
Degreasing:
Degrease the cleaned area with Fluna Gun Degreaser, another suitable degreaser, or alcohol to ensure that no oils or fats affect the bluing.
Surface treatment:
If necessary, lightly sand the damaged area with 1,000 grit sandpaper or an abrasive pad to eliminate unevenness and improve adhesion.
Masking:
Use strong tape to clearly delineate the area to be treated and protect adjacent surfaces.

Application of Fluna Gun Black
Application:
Apply Fluna Gun Black thinly and evenly to the prepared area using a fine brush or cotton swab.
Drying:
Allow the applied layer to dry completely.
Neutralization:
After drying, immediately neutralize the treated area with water or a suitable oil to stop the chemical reaction.

Repetition
Repeat the application process (apply, dry, neutralize) several times until the desired blackening degree is achieved.

Final treatment
Cleaning:
Clean the repaired area with an oil or Fluna Gun Coating to remove any remaining residues.
Drying and polishing:
Allow the treated area to dry and then carefully polish it to achieve an even finish.
Final coating:
Finally, apply a new layer of Fluna Gun Coating to protect the repaired area and ensure the longevity of the bluing.
