Marlin 1894 Classic caliber .357Mag lever-action rifle

The Marlin 1894 Classic .357 Magnum is a modern version of a classic lever-action rifle in traditional Western style. It is manufactured by Marlin Firearms, which is now part of Sturm, Ruger & Co.. The rifle combines a historically appealing design with modern manufacturing quality and is primarily used for sport shooting, recreation, and sometimes for hunting lighter game.

The rifle operates with a lever-action system. This means that after each shot, the lever under the trigger guard is moved down and back up to chamber a new round from the tubular magazine into the chamber. The model is designed for the caliber .357 Magnum but can also fire the weaker .38 Special ammunition. This makes it very versatile, as both stronger and cheaper, lower-recoil ammunition can be used.

Typical for this rifle is the approximately 47 cm long barrel and a tubular magazine under the barrel that can hold several rounds. The standard sights consist of a classic rear sight and a front sight with a brass bead. The stock is made of walnut, while the metal parts are blued, giving the rifle its traditional appearance. At the same time, the side ejection port allows for the mounting of optics if needed.
