The ThermTec Ventus 635L is aimed at hunters who want to use both thermal imaging and high-resolution 4K night vision in a single device. The multispectral binocular combines a modern thermal imaging sensor, a 4K CMOS day/night vision channel, an integrated laser rangefinder, and a dual IR illuminator in a robust, hunting-compatible housing. With the Ventus 635L, you cover nearly all situations from quickly scanning large areas to targeted identification at hunting distances. The thermal imaging technology reliably indicates game bodies, while the 4K channel clearly highlights fine details such as antlers, legs, or horn structure when needed. The integrated laser rangefinder provides you with the exact distance to the target, which is particularly important for making a responsible decision while sitting or during field hunting. The binocular design with dual-eye use keeps your view relaxed, even if you have the device at your eye for an extended period.​

Thermal imaging and 4K technology in detail
Inside, a VOx thermal imaging sensor with 640 x 512 pixels and a 12 µm pixel pitch works, specifically designed for fine temperature differences. The NETD value is below 15 mK, allowing game bodies to stand out clearly against wet ground, hedges, or forest edges. The thermal optics with a 35 mm lens provide a practical field of view for searching and observing, while also enabling a thermal detection distance of up to around 1,800 m.
For the digital day and night vision channel, ThermTec uses a 4K UHD CMOS sensor with approximately 3536 x 3536 pixels. In combination with the 0.5-inch AMOLED display with 1600 x 1200 pixels, a very sharp, high-contrast image is created, which is pleasant to view even during long observations. The bi-spectrum function and picture-in-picture allow you to combine thermal and digital images: You locate the game via the thermal view and then check details through the 4K channel in the same field of view.​
For additional flexibility, the detachable IR illuminator allows you to switch between 850 nm and 940 nm. 850 nm offers maximum brightness and range, while 940 nm is particularly inconspicuous to game. The illuminator can be focused and removed when not in use, saving weight and keeping the device's silhouette slim.

Operating concept, ergonomics & power supply
The Ventus 635L has been designed with clear focus on hunting use. The housing is ergonomically shaped, and the controls are arranged so that you can intuitively reach the most important functions even while wearing gloves. Separate focus wheels are available for the different channels – thermal, digital, and night vision – allowing you to finely adjust each mode without changing your hand position.
Power is supplied by two standard 18650 batteries, providing a runtime of up to about 6 hours without Wi-Fi. Since a total of four batteries are included in the package, you can easily extend the operating time for a long hunting day or an entire night by swapping them out. An integrated proximity sensor automatically turns off the display when you take the binoculars away from your eye, helping to save energy and avoid stray light.
The housing is sealed according to IP67, making it dustproof and temporarily submersible – ideal for rainy sits or wet meadows. You can connect the Ventus to an app via WLAN/Wi-Fi hotspot, the internal storage of 64 GB records photos and videos directly on the device, and via USB-C, you can transfer data to your computer or use an external power supply.
