Minox expands its spotting scope range with the lightweight and compact 8-24x50 ED – at an unbeatable price-performance ratio as usual. When observing not from a fixed location, such as a hide, but while moving through the area or on a hike, the question often arises with a tripod whether the effort is worth it, as the instruments can be quite heavy, and possibly the tripod adds more weight.
With the Minox angled spotting scope 8-24x50 ED, the decision is made easy, as it is extremely compact and weighs only 520 g. A lightweight monopod can suffice as a support. And despite its small dimensions, the optical instrument is extremely powerful.
The spotting scope features a continuous 8-24x magnification that brings distant objects close to life in a natural way. The 50 mm objective combined with the ED lenses results in a light transmission of 85%, providing detailed, high-contrast, and color-accurate images even in twilight. The field of view is exceptionally large at up to 88 m at 1,000 m, ensuring a good overview at all times.
The nitrogen-filled 8-24x50 ED spotting scope is waterproof and dustproof according to IPX7 protection class. The robust and ergonomic housing is equipped with a pleasantly textured rubber coating, and the operation with the large focusing wheel is intuitive, even with gloves on.
