Practical laser rangefinder in the objective lens
With a detection range of 2,600 meters, 2.7x base magnification, and the integrated laser rangefinder in the objective lens, the FQ50L 2.0 is clearly the specialist for longer distances. The rangefinder does not create an obstructive block on the outside of the device, as seen in competitor models.

One-handed operation
The new focus wheel on the eyepiece side fits perfectly into the housing. It can also be easily operated with gloves. The laser rangefinder, as well as all other control buttons, can also be comfortably operated with just one hand.

Outstanding image quality
The innovative shutterless system HSIS calibrates the Falcon FQ50L 2.0 independently, so there is no disruptive, noisy interruption when recalibrating the image. The temperature sensitivity of the sensor is at a NETD value of < 15 mK and delivers outstanding images even in rain and fog. The updated Image-Pro 2.0 algorithm represents details significantly better, and the noise in the image background is significantly reduced. The built-in aperture of 0.9 captures 19% more infrared radiation compared to the 1.0 aperture. This makes the image even sharper.

Especially long continuous operation through Smart Standby
The Falcon 2.0 series features a 21700 battery for the first time. In combination with the automatic screen shutdown and the Smart Standby function, continuous operation of the Falcon FQ50 2.0 of up to 6.5 hours is possible.
