MR 223The MR223 A3 combines the world-renowned AR-15 architecture with the unique reliability of the G36 gas piston system. The A3 version is fully ambidextrous and features a revised magazine well according to NATO-STANAG-4179 (DRAFT).The MR223 is a semi-automatic self-loading rifle in caliber .223 Remington. It is the civilian version of the HK416, which is in service with numerous regular and specialized military and police forces.
