Description

Good day,

offered is a beautiful hunting repeater from the ammunition manufacturer RWS model 98er in caliber 8x68S.
This weapon series from RWS is no longer available.
The weapon shows moderate signs of use. Only superficial dents are visible, as the weapon has been carried.

At the muzzle, the bluing is somewhat lighter. There are also some finer small scratches.

Mounted is a classic Schmidt & Bender 8x56 riflescope with reticle 4 without illuminated dot, with paint scratches and dents on the housing. Held by a modern EAW swivel mount.

A special feature of the weapon is the sought-after and expensive Voere hand tension at the bolt via thumb tension.
Additionally, there is a high-quality and fully adjustable Voere shotgun trigger, which breaks very dry and crystal clear.

We are happy to advise and mount your desired modern optics on the weapon.

Features:

1. Voere shotgun trigger with a release weight of only approx. 650g
2. EAW swivel mount
3. Schmidt & Bender 8x56 riflescope reticle 4 (without illuminated dot!)
4. Sling swivel, as well as brass front sight (rear sight is missing due to scope)
5. Beautiful wooden stock with Bavarian cheek piece, pig back, and checkering.
6. Expensive and practical hand tension via thumb pressure
7. Barrel with mirror-polished field-rifling profile
8. Rubber butt plate
9. Stock length 35.5cm (from muzzle to stock end)
10. Overall length 118cm
11. Barrel length: approx. 65cm
12. Total weight: 4.2 Kg
