The Ruger 77 Green Mountain in caliber .17Hornet is a robust and reliable bolt-action rifle at an extremely affordable price.The 77 series from the US manufacturer Ruger has a long history of success, which is largely based on its good price-performance ratio. The Stock
This Green Mountain version of the Ruger 77 owes its name to the one-piece green-gray-brown patterned stock made of weather-resistant laminated wood. The grip surfaces are textured with fish scale patterns, ensuring good handling even in wet conditions. A rubber butt pad dampens the recoil.

The Action
The action is made of steel with a matte finish. The rifle is secured with a three-position safety, allowing the chamber to be opened in the middle position while still secured. The robust stainless steel bolt has a 90° locking travel and a short locking time. It is triggered with a direct trigger. This version is designed for caliber .17Hornet. The cutouts in the action housing allow for the mounting of a scope with the Ruger integral mount.

The Barrel
The barrel is made of cold-hammered steel and is 47 cm long. It features a ½“-28 UNEF thread with thread protection. It is without sights. Its surface is also finished with a matte gray coating.
