The Rottweil Waidmannsheil Bismuth shotgun cartridges have a material density that is about 22% higher compared to steel shot, which leads to increased lethality at greater distances.

A special shot cup ensures a dense and uniform coverage at different distances. These cartridges are also suitable for shotguns without steel shot proofing and regardless of choke constriction, which increases their versatility.

Additionally, the non-toxic Bismuth shot allows for ethical hunting that protects both the environment and the health of hunters.

With a maximum muzzle velocity (V 2.5 m) of up to 390 m/s, the Rottweil Waidmannheil Bismuth cartridges offer maximum energy transfer, high shooting ranges, and a reduced lead time on moving targets.

The advantages at a glance

Better material properties: The shot consists of pure Bismuth with a density of 9.78 g/cm³, making it 22% denser than soft iron. Additionally, it is much softer and more malleable.
More hits: Due to the higher density of Bismuth, a shot size larger can be used compared to lead shot at the same load. This increases the number of pellets in the cup and thus the hit rate.
More freedom: The Waidmannsheil Bismuth allows unrestricted hunting with lead-free ammunition on all types of small game - in water areas, in the forest, or in open fields.
