The custom metal housing from Zeiss protects the Secacam 1 wildlife camera from environmental influences, theft, and vandalism.The original Zeiss metal housing is made of robust steel and fits the Secacam 1 wildlife camera precisely. The cutouts for the controls are precisely made, ensuring that operation and handling are not restricted. The connections at the top and bottom of the device remain accessible. There is a small gap between the camera and the housing that acts as a buffer against impacts and other external influences. The slots on the side allow rainwater to drain directly. A magnet has been implemented in the closure element, ensuring that the housing is always completely closed. Additionally, if needed, a padlock can be attached to the housing, or a cable lock can be secured through the designated eyelets on the back (padlock and cable lock are not included). The full camouflage pattern of the housing effectively conceals the Secacam 1 in its surroundings.
