CCI Shotshell 31grs No.12 20 pcs .22wmr

CCI Shotshell 31grs Nr12 20St
The CCI Shotshell .22 WMR (Magnum) takes pest control to the next level. The longer casing of the .22 Magnum provides more room for shot and propellant than the smaller .22 lfB version. Filled with approximately 31 grains of the finest No. 12 shot ("Dust Shot"), it creates an extremely dense pattern that is highly effective at short distances against small pests (mice, rats, snakes). If you want to buy .22 Magnum shot ammunition, this is the professional solution for trapping or use in the hunting lodge.

Application & Target Group (EN)
Special application for hunters and pest controllers.

Trapping (Killing Shot): The advantage of the .22 WMR shot cartridge lies in its slightly higher energy compared to the .22 lfB. It acts more confidently but still spares the trap and the pelt.
Pest Control: Ideal in warehouses or barns (subject to permission), as the fine No. 12 shot typically does not penetrate walls or roofs (low risk to the surroundings).
Revolver Use: .22 WMR revolvers are popular killing shot weapons. This cartridge greatly expands their range of use.

Recommendations for Distance
Limited range due to rifled barrels:

Sport Shooting / Application: Optimized for 2 to 4 meters. The rotation opens the pattern quickly.
Zeroing: Not necessary. Aim at a spot 3 meters away.
Maximum effective range: Approximately 5 meters. After that, the spread is too large for effective impact.

The plastic capsule disintegrates at the muzzle. Since .22 WMR is often fired from revolvers, cycling (which would be a problem with pistols) always works here due to the system.

Comparison & Alternatives
Compared to the .22 lr shotshell, the .22 WMR Magnum offers more power and often slightly better coverage due to the higher speed.

Purchase only with valid acquisition authorization (EWB). Sale only to persons over 18 years. Use for pest control only with official permission or in the hunting area (no shooting in the garden!).

FAQ
Can I use it in my .22 lfB weapon?
No! .22 WMR casings are thicker and longer. They do not fit in .22 lr chambers.
Is No. 12 shot lethal to foxes?
No, definitely not. It is "bird dust" for small animals (mouse/rat).

Conclusion / Purchase Argument
The CCI .22 WMR Shotshell makes your Magnum revolver a versatile tool. Essential for a safe killing shot on the smallest predators.
