Description

Late Roman Roman Helmet Intercisa made of 1.2 mm steel from the late 3rd or early 4th century. Particularly characteristic are the eye motifs on the forehead, which lie over the real eyes of the wearer and look directly forward. The ear holes, typical for this Roman helmet, are formed by special cutouts in the helmet and in the cheek plates. The cheek plates and the neck guard are riveted to the helmet with sturdy leather straps. All edges are finished with a leather trim, and a riveted, adjustable leather liner ensures individual size adjustment as well as optimal wearing comfort.
