Winchester Mare's Leg Rifle special edition

Winchester Mare's Leg 1892 decorative rifle is a special edition and became known through the television series "Wanted: Dead or Alive." The Mare's Leg was originally made from a Winchester Model 1892. The rifle was shortened so that it could be operated with one hand. The metal-plated stock and grip are made of wood, just like the original. The lever, trigger, and hammer are fully functional.

The term Mare's Leg has now become a general term for Winchester carbines with a shortened barrel and stock.
