The PUMA skinning knife is ideal for field dressing game due to its rounded blade tip, as it does not injure the internal organs and thus prevents contamination of the meat. The blade is made from German kitchen knife steel according to DIN WN 1.4116 (X50CrMoV15) and features a partial serrated edge. The handle, made from high-quality and acid-resistant plastic "polypropylene," is seamlessly molded onto the tang, as is customary for professional kitchen cutting tools for hygienic reasons.
